Admission Arrangements

Havering Council (the Local Authority) is the admission authority for all community and voluntary controlled schools in the London Borough of Havering. This means that the Council sets the over-subscription criteria and makes the decisions as to which pupils are admitted to these schools.

The determined admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled infant, junior, primary and secondary schools in the borough can be viewed by clicking the link here: https://www.havering.gov.uk/admissions

This is where you can find all the information you need to apply for a place for you child including:

  • applying for a year 3 place
  • applying for an in-year transfer
  • applying for a year 7 place in secondary school

Please click on the link below if you wish to make an appeal for a place at Scargill Junior School. You must do this via the London Borough of Havering, who handle these matters on our behalf.
